This Grand Hotel Excelsior screams quintessentially Italy. Upon entering the grounds, it’s almost like a fairytale with a very inviting driveway that takes you to the stunning entrance, where you are greeted with a smile from the kindest staff. The hotel boasts three buildings, all of which have individually decorated rooms. We dined in one of their main restaurants, and the food was hearty and plentiful. The views are beyond spectacular, and I had the chance to witness one of the best sunsets I have ever seen. The hotel has been in the same family for 6 generations, and you get the family vibe and charm when you stay here. This is a must when staying in Sorrento.
