The Evian Resort, France
Fit for a king
Surrounded by lush parks and gardens and overlooking a lake, this 47-acre property is fit for a King (or even a Queen, as Queen Elizabeth has previous stayed here). It is dedicated to King Edwards VII and palatial in design with a Belle Époque façade and frescoes by Gustave Jaulmes that ooze luxury and give a taste of France’s artistic flare.
Traditional yet comfortable, rooms and suites were renovated along with the rest of the residence in 2015 – preciously conserving the property’s original character. The resort’s golf course and Spa Evian Source are world renowned and offer leisure, relaxation and wellbeing for all ages. There’s also a Kid’s Club for children aged 4 months to 16 years old.
