Direct flights between London and Malé take around 10 hours 30 minutes. Connecting flights can take as little as 13 hours, depending on the length of the layover.

You do not need a visa to visit Seychelles, but you must get a travel authorisation before you travel. You can apply for this online up to 10 days before you arrive. When you arrive, you’ll get a visitor’s permit for 3 months. Visit Gov.uk for more information on entry requirements.
The best time to visit the Seychelles is between April and May or October and November as these months are the least windy. Temperatures hover around 28°C with blue skies and sunshine for most of the year. The northwest trade wind blows from November to March and the southeast wind blows from May to September, bringing refreshing breezes to the tropical weather.
