The Far East is a vast region spanning many different climates so the best time to visit depends on where you want to go. To the north, temperate countries like Japan are best in spring and autumn when the weather is dry and the landscape is vibrant. Closer to the Equator, mainland countries in Southeast Asia including Thailand are best during the dry season from November to early April. The weather is hot and sunny with the lowest amount of humidity. For tropical islands like Bali, the best time of year is between April and September when the weather is hot, dry and sunny.
