Four Seasons Resort Maldives at Kuda Huraa
Family-friendly luxury in the Maldives
The Maldives is known for being honeymoon heaven, however there are some luxury resorts that are incredible for a family holiday. One of our favourites at Wonderluxe Travel is Four Seasons Resort Maldives at Kuda Huraa.
Laid-back yet luxurious, this village-style resort is just 25 minutes by speedboat from Malé airport in the North Malé Atoll. So, before you know it, you’ll be splashing about in your own private pool, watching the kids learn to snorkel or sipping sundowners as the sun seemingly dips into the Indian Ocean.
When you’re not chilling, there’s always something to do here, from yoga and surfing to dolphin watching or a night-time spa session. Be sure to make use of the kids’ club, so you can hop on a dhoni (traditional boat) to the resort’s serene overwater spa.
We have stayed at this resort, so get in touch if you have any questions!
Four Seasons Resort Maldives at Kuda Huraa
Kids' Club
Four Seasons Resort Maldives at Kuda Huraa has a kids’ club called Kuda Mas (small fish). The club welcomes children aged between 4 and 12 years old and the team puts on a packed programme of activities, crafts and games, including yoga, turtle monitoring and mini spa sessions! Babysitting for little ones over 12 months is also available.
Luxury villas and suites
The villas and suites here are out of this world and there is a choice of beach and overwater accommodation. These include two-bedroom and three-bedroom options, some with private pools. Many resorts in the Maldives don’t allow kids in overwater villas, but at Four Seasons Resort Maldives at Kuda Huraa this is possible, so a great option if this is on your family wish list.
Help build a reef
If you want to give back and try something different during your holiday, you can help with the pioneering Reefscapers project. The team is installing 3500 coral frames in the waters around Kuda Huraa, helping stimulate new coral growth and investing in the protection of existing coral reefs. Kids can join in, too!
